PEAT MINE :
The area of the peat mine is situated in Solec Kujawski commune, about 8 km from Bydgoszcz - Toruń road on the left side of the Vistula. It creates favourable conditions for peat road transport. There is also the possibility of water transport on the Vistula river. The peat deposit stretches on the area of 40 hectares. A detailed geological documentation in C1 peat deposit category had been prepared. The deposit had also been examined from the point of view of usefulness for gardening, agriculture and heating purposes. In this way average parameters together with the extremes were obtained.

The examined peat is characterised by good quality parameters and for this reason it can be used for gardening, agriculture and heating purposes.
